This online seminar aims to guide attendees on cultivating leadership skills, specifically in response to the following questions:  What is effective leadership?  What traits do effective leaders exhibit?  What practices do they commonly follow?  This session will review general traits of great (and not so great) leaders and specific practices for more effective leadership, such as how to work through difficult conversations, provide and receive feedback, and lead a well-functioning team.  One foundational factor that will be emphasized is the importance of remaining open to self-reflection and improvement, as one seeks to strengthen one’s own leadership skills.

Who Should Attend

This session is intended for persons at all levels of careers, as leadership skills can be practiced and honed throughout one’s career.  In particular, we invite early career professionals who may be towards the beginning of their leadership journey.
